In December, on our way to Missouri, we stayed at our friend’s house in Montana. These are friends who used to live near us in Washington. While we were there, another friend from Missouri came to visit. We had dinner and dessert, visited, sang hymns, read the Bible, some of us played games and ate popcorn. Then our family spent the night.
Now, back in Washington, we had grown a huge pumpkin last summer. It was special to us, however, since we were moving to Missouri, we gave it to this family before they moved to Montana. When we stayed at their house, they so kindly insisted we take it with us to Missouri. We just cooked it a few days ago. So we got to eat the fruit of our hands. Yum!
