In September, this year, we attended the annual Christian Heritage Picnic in Spokane, Washington. We were thankful that we were able to come, even amidst all the preparation for moving. I think it was one of the highlights of the entire month of September… the games, the food, the fellowship, were all enjoyed. And we were especially blessed to see dear friends before we left!
Fellowship before the meal.
Some of our dear friends posed with us for a picture during the picnic. It was very sweet.

Afterward, some of us went and played on a steep hill.
Potato sack races!
And volleyball, of course!
“1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.”
